The 4 walls filming
To survive the four-wall madness, I built a detailed shotlist and movement map. It became the backbone of the shoot, but also something we bent, broke, and reformed constantly. The structure was there, but intuition had the final say.
One of the biggest challenges as a beginner director, aside from never having worked with such a large crew, was filming four synchronised walls/scenes using only two cameras.
I had to plan every move strategically. Since this setup had never been done before (at least not like this), there was no guidebook, I was completely on my own.
